If you're feeling anxious, low, or stressed, you can self-refer to our Plymouth Options service for people aged 16+ in Plymouth.

If you are experiencing a mental health condition that requires specialist support and care, a GP may refer you to a community mental health team.

The main aim of any community mental health service is to help you get better in an environment that makes you feel safe and well supported.

Community mental health teams are made up of a range of experts. They usually include mental health nurses, occupational therapists, consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and mental health support workers. Together, they offer specialist assessment and treatment, where necessary, in your local area.
