Caroline Hewitt - Counsellor
I am a qualified counsellor and have studied and work with a Person-Centred Approach. This means that my practice is based upon developing a relationship with you that has professional boundaries, within that I will be genuine and hope to understand who you are as a person and what it is like to be you, I will listen and explore without judgement in order to create a safe space where you can just be you.

Sometimes in this fast-paced life, we lose track of who we are and what we genuinely want for ourselves. It's easy to become overwhelmed and stuck. In my practice, it is my aim to offer you a space where you can begin to unpick what is happening to you. Though I know it often doesn't feel like it, I believe that each person is unique and has an innate ability towards healing, and in my role as a counsellor, I will endeavour to journey alongside you as you discover this for yourself.
Working ethically is important to me, and I aspire at all times to work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
I have been working with clients in a variety of placement settings for many years and have experience supporting people with issues such as depression, relationships, historical abuse, bereavement, loneliness, life transitions, and student support.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and are usually weekly, though we can discuss this.
