We understand that problematic drug and alcohol use rarely exists in isolation. Often, these issues are intertwined with other significant life challenges. We've evolved to provide comprehensive support for individuals facing multiple vulnerabilities and complex needs.

Our services are designed to help you navigate these challenges and reclaim your life.

Who we can support

We work with a range of individuals, including:

  • Adults struggling with life problems directly related to their own drug or alcohol use (e.g., housing instability, relationship difficulties, involvement in the justice system).
  • Adults managing common mental health conditions like anxiety or depression.
  • Adults who have experienced early life trauma, including childhood trauma.
  • Vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and undiagnosed mental health issues who may be self-medicating with drugs and/or alcohol.

How we can help you

To ensure we provide the most effective support, we also:

  • Work with the wider community affected by drug and alcohol misuse, including families and friends.
  • Offer a dedicated family support team to provide holistic care.
  • Open our gym and sports facilities to schools, charities, and community members, promoting health and wellbeing.

Your opportunity for change

If you're struggling with problematic alcohol or drug use and feel ready to leave the chaos behind, we are here to help you. This is your moment to choose change. We provide a secure and calming environment where you can begin to rebuild your life, equipped with new skills and effective coping strategies. Hamoaze House offers comprehensive support, counselling, and a sense of security for you and your family.

Therapy options

We offer a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs:

  • Group therapy: These structured sessions bring individuals together to share experiences, discuss challenges, and gain valuable insights into their own thoughts and behaviours. In a safe and comfortable environment, participants offer each other mutual support and encouragement. Groups may be mixed or single-sex.
  • One-to-one therapy: Personalised sessions are available, offering focused support to explore individual needs and issues.
  • One-to-one enabling sessions: These sessions are designed to help you overcome practical barriers and progress towards your goals.

Bespoke packages

We recognise that everyone's journey is unique. That's why we offer bespoke packages that blend a range of complementary services. For example, we could combine group counselling with a fitness programme. If you are interested in combining two or more services, please contact us for a programme planning assessment so we can tailor our support to your individual needs.
