Seafarers' Link is a project run by Community Network, a registered charity that provides telephone friendship groups to reduce loneliness and social isolation.

Seafarer's Link runs telephone friendship groups for ex-seafarers and their families. Anyone with a seafaring background can become a member including former Merchant Navy, Fishermen, Retired Royal Navy, Royal Marines, WRENS. It is also open to anyone who has served or worked at sea and their families.
Each group is made up of 6-8 members, together with a volunteer facilitator. Taking part in a group is a great way to connect with people who share a maritime background and offers an opportunity to share stories and experiences of life at sea. It is a great way to make new friends and connect with the wider community.
All of our telephone friendship groups are free.

- 26 to 64 years old
