We offer the Great Expectations course to prepare for the birth of your baby and afterwards, covering topics such as communicating with your baby, meeting the health professionals, and the feeding choices for your baby.
Be healthier
We want to support and encourage healthier lifestyles for all our families. This starts from when you first get pregnant through your life's journey. We run groups and individual services throughout the year to support you and your family with healthy eating, physical fitness, emotional well-being, and advice on stopping smoking.
Caterpillars and Butterflies are both parent and child groups where you can stay and play, having fun while learning about your child's development. These groups are designed for children from birth to 2 years old.
Be wealthier
In this modern world, financial security is something we all aspire to have for ourselves and our families. Making the most of your income can be very challenging, and often you feel that you need professional support. We can support and guide you to the most relevant agencies who can help you resolve any benefit or money issues that you may have.
If you are ready to start thinking about yourself but don't know where to start, we can help support you. We can support you with looking for work, re-training, helping with applications or CVs, and signposting you to relevant agencies who can look at where you are now and where you would like to be.
Be wiser
Parents and carers can spend time in our groups to chat and make friends with other parents, sample some different experiences, or jump into a variety of courses. All of our groups are designed to help you enjoy the time you spend with your children; these range from craft activities to themed sessions.
Be safer
We can help and support you if you do not feel that your family is physically or emotionally safe.
We have workers who can advise, support, or guide you to either Morice Town or city-wide services, so your family gets the most appropriate help.
We can also offer the Safe at Home Scheme for advice around home safety equipment. Depending on meeting certain criteria, you could qualify for safety equipment for your home.
