Rethink Mental Illness is a charity that believes a better life is possible for millions of people affected by mental illness.
At Plymouth community services we understand that recovery from mental illness can be a difficult and lonely journey at times but we aim to help those in and around the community to recover and become their more independent selves.
Our friendly and expert staff are here to travel with you, support you every step of the way to achieve your goals, learn new skills and also help you contact other agencies for services that we may not offer. We strive to promote and ensure social inclusion and we help people who use our service to play as full a part in the community as possible, as well as help individuals feel included. This may be by supporting those in self-development, professional development and employment. We feel strongly that, as far as possible, one to one support is personalised to each individual so that those in the service have more choice and control over their lives.
