Our service is unique as we offer a holistic approach through our multidisciplinary team, which is located on site.

This means that we are able to provide 24-hour on-site specialist support, which includes care and nursing, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, Occupational Therapy and a specialist Eating and Drinking Team.

Our highly trained and dedicated staff enable those we support to live more independently within our specially adapted accommodation while we provide the best care and opportunities on offer in a homely and caring environment.

At Dame Hannahs, we enable our young people to grow and develop with confidence and freedom and to live life to the full.

How we can help you

Dame Hannahs is home to our Adult Services Provision, known as Hannahwood. Our Ivybridge site is a dedicated specialist facility that provides residential placements and day placement services for young adults (aged 19+) with a wide range of complex, profound and multiple disabilities. Our holistic approach offers professional support from our therapists, expert medical staff and a care team in a lovely atmosphere.

Activities and Social Life: At Hannahwood, we have an extensive range of activities available for everybody to enjoy.

Residential and Day Services: Hannahwood provides residential placements and short break opportunities for adults aged 19+ with a variety of complex and profound needs.

TherapiesWe believe that every person at Dame Hannahs should be able to experience life to the fullest and that our therapy teams are crucial in enabling this to happen. Our multi-disciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists works alongside our nurses, education team, care teams and parents to ensure that every part of a young person's life is as good as it can be so they are able to reach their full potential.
