Support for young people

A youth centre, sometimes called a youth club, is a place where young people can meet and participate in a variety of activities.

The Youth Offending Team (YOT) is composed of staff from a variety of professional backgrounds including social workers, police officers, probation officers, drugs and alcohol advisors, mental health practitioners and accommodation officers.

The Youth Offending Team (YOT) deals with children and young people under the age of 18 who are either accused of, or convicted of committing a crime.
