Register to use NHSmail

NHSmail is the national secure collaboration service for health and social care in England. It is a free, secure email system that is available to all CQC-registered care providers in England who have achieved Approaching Standards on the Data Security and Protection Toolkit

There are 3 steps to obtaining an NHSmail address:​

Locate Organisation Data Service Number (ODS) number: ​https://odsportal.digital.nhs.uk/Organisation/Search​

Register and meet the standards required on the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT):​

https://www.dsptoolkit.nhs.uk/Account/Register Devon Care Home Collaborative (DCHC) is supporting all social care organisations to complete the DSPT with training events, email sara.small@devoncarehomes.org for further information

Register on the NHSmail Portal: https://portal.nhs.net/Registration#/careprovider 

In order to use NHSmail, all users must adhere and agree to abide by the rules set out in the NHSmail Acceptable Use Policy and remember to set the security questions
