Adult Services
It all starts with a conversation. Our experts will work with you to develop a package of support that's just right for you. After developing a plan together and agreeing that our services are right for you, one of our specialists may visit you at home. We can also help you to navigate the wealth of information and advice that Guide Dogs offers and recommend other services and organisations that might be helpful.
Sighted Guide Training
We provide sighted guiding training for family and friends of adults with a vision impairment.
Guide Dogs
Our guide dogs give people with sight loss the confidence to get out and about safely, providing life-changing practical support every day.
Children's Services
Our experts can help your child live actively, independently, and well with sight loss. Our information and advice service can help you with family support, education support, technology grants, and sensory toys.
My Life Skills
We're here to help your child learn invaluable practical skills for life. From supporting physical development and learning in the early years to navigating streets safely, preparing food, handling money, using technology, and managing their appearance, they grow older.
My Time to Play
My Time to Play helps children aged 0-4 with a vision impairment develop through play and provides parents with the opportunity to network, share experiences, and pick up skills and knowledge to support their child's development with confidence.
CustomEyes Books
CustomEyes Books are for everyone aged 0-25 with a vision impairment, or dyslexia. We produce books in large print, tailor-made to suit each child's eye condition, and available at everyday prices.
Family Events
Our UK-wide programme of activity days provides the opportunity for children and parents to meet other families and access advice from our specialist team.
Buddy Dogs
Our buddy dogs help children and young people build confidence in themselves and trust in their surroundings, which can have a hugely positive effect on the whole family's wellbeing. Call us on 0800 781 1444 to sign up for a Discovery Session.
