The Michael Batt Foundation offers community-based, individualised, person-centred support to adults with any, or a combination, of the following:
- Borderline, mild or moderate learning disability
- Mental health problems
- Complex emotional issues (for example, problems in forming and/or maintaining relationships, self-harm, suicidal behaviour, a sense of not belonging and attachment issues)
- Autistic Spectrum condition
- Impaired social functioning
- Physical disabilities
- Difficulties engaging with services
- History of abusive experiences
In addition to the above, the Michael Batt Foundation provides support to individuals who are at risk of offending, have offended, or have behaviours that challenge.
We aim to provide a flexible service that works with individuals in such a way as to enable them to develop and maintain the necessary skills to maximise their independence and to live a safe and fulfilled life in the community (occupation, education, and recreation).
The Michael Batt Foundation provides supported living, residential, and domiciliary care. Funding is done via local authorities or direct payments.
