Charlton House

Originally opened in 1979 as a privately run retirement home, Charlton House is set within a beautiful 1880 Victorian mansion that, in recent years, has been extensively renovated while retaining its charm and elegance.

Charlton House is situated close to the city centre, in a residential area, making it easy for residents to be part of the wider community outside of the home. The home is surrounded by attractive gardens and grounds that are regularly maintained and used for events in the warmer months. It is also located in a conservation area, near a spacious and well-kept park, perfect for walks in the summer.

Providing a high standard of accommodation and care, Charlton House welcomes people over 65 years of age from all walks of life, with many different needs, who want the opportunity to share and celebrate the richness and diversity of their experiences.

Charlton House has undertaken St. Luke's Six Steps programme and is an accredited end-of-life care provider.
