Plymouth Food Aid Network

The Plymouth Food Aid Network (PFAN) is a collaboration of food support providers, local growers, distributors, retailers, and organisations all seeking to end food insecurity across the city. The Network began in 2018 and has provided a united approach in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All parties involved with PFAN actively seek to offer fair access to healthy and appropriate food support across Plymouth communities.

​Members of the Plymouth Food Aid Network seek to bring an end to food insecurity across the city; however, they still recognise that there remains a need for emergency food aid in the short term.

The Network actively works to offer the least stigmatising forms of emergency food aid provision possible and to work collectively to end the need for reliance on these short-term services.

Everyone can find themselves in need of food support at some point. That's why we've created this map to help you find the right help in and around Plymouth.

Join the Plymouth Food Aid Network and make a difference in the lives of people who need a little help in life.

Whether you're a charity, cause, school, or community group, we can help you get involved and make a real impact. As a member, you'll have access to our member meetings and areas, where you can get help, advice, and training from other experienced organisations. You'll also be added to our up-to-date food aid map, which in turn can act as a website for your cause. Also, we run a current WhatsApp group where you can share surplus stock and best practices with other members.
