What is counselling
Counselling helps us to manage challenges within our lives which may result in us feeling dissatisfied and unhappy with one or more aspect of our lives. The issues which may be treated with counselling are usually those which are concerned with day to day events within our lives and the lives of those close to us. Counselling can be used by individuals, couples or those experiencing relationship problems to explore the difficulties in their lives, the areas where they have become stuck or dissatisfied, and it gives them an opportunity to explore new and different ways of dealing with these things for a happier and brighter future.
Sessions usually take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on your individual need and the model being used to address your problems and concerns. We will be able to discuss frequency of sessions when you contact me to discuss your requirements from this work. My consulting room is disabled accessible but not wheelchair accessible; if you have a disability please discuss your needs with me so that we can assess your requirements and the accessibility of my consulting room. If access is not possible then we can make arrangements for an alternative venue to be used for our consultation
