Emmanuel Church

Emmanuel is part of the Church of England and shares leadership with and works in partnership with St. Paul's, Efford.

Emmanuel is a church of about 180 people from all walks of life and all ages.  We are passionate about following Jesus Christ in our day-to-day lives.  We believe God's message in the Bible remains a message packed with timeless truths for a 21st-century Plymouth.  It sheds light on our world today and makes sense of the issues we face.

There are many ways for you and your family to get involved at Emmanuel Church. Our website has a list of all the groups which are currently running, such as Toddler Tunes and Kings Kidz

Get Involved

We have lots of groups to get involved with, whether you're new to the church or have been around for a while!  Each group is friendly and welcoming and would love to get to know you. 

Weddings

Emmanuel Church has proved a popular wedding venue over the years as it provides a beautiful setting to make your big day special. The inside of the church is a romantic, traditional setting for photos; the grounds are idyllic for your group shots, and if it rains, we have plenty of space inside the church to capture those special memories.

Child Contact Centre

Emmanuel Church is also one of the two designated Child Contact Centres in Plymouth, where estranged parents (and grandparents) can meet their children in a safe and neutral space.
