We are a local and independent charity affiliated with the federation of YMCAs in England and Wales.
Our services are primarily delivered across two sites: our main centre on Honicknowle Lane, Plymouth and our satellite facility, Torpoint and Rame Community Sports Centre.
How we can help you
- Training and education: We deliver accredited vocational training for 16-19-year-olds, focusing on key industries for the Plymouth economy through our award-winning Discovery College.
- Our innovative and inclusive approach to education enables us to support young people typically disengaged with mainstream education and equip them with the skills and confidence to succeed in their lives.

YMCA Plymouth (Satellite Family Hub)
YMCA Plymouth is an extension of the nearby Four Woods Family Hub on Crownhill Road, which is operated by Barnardo's.
Services offered at the YMCA satellite site include parenting support and early years activities and workshops, which will all be coordinated by the Four Woods Family Hub team.

Our venue hire and other facilities, such as the3G pitch, studio, and classrooms,are available to hire 7 days a week (subject to availability).
