In addition to having rooms and space to hire, there are numerous Community Leisure Groups including Dance Classes for children, a Luncheon Club for the over Fifties and a Weekly Diabetic Clinic.
Welcome Hall Limited was established as a registered Charity and Company and operates as an independent organisation. We opened in 1995 as a Community Resource Centre for the benefit of those people residing or working in the Devonport area.
Welcome Warriors
Our aim is to keep the streets and green spaces around Devonport clean, tidy and free from litter and rubbish. We aim to work alongside existing agencies and compliment the Council's street services. We aim to involve the local community, both young and old in clean-ups and litter education. Welcome Hall is ideally located to recruit people from the local community due to the large amount of work already carried out in the neighbourhood.
