NSPCC Plymouth

The NSPCC regional hubs bring together our work in schools, local campaigning and our direct services. Everything we do protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow, to transform society for every childhood. That's why we're here and that's what drives all of our work. But it's only possible with your support.

In addition to the main services that the NSPCC can support you with, for example, the main helpline and helping to children safe, there are the following services available in Plymouth.

InCtrl:

InCtrl helps to build young people's understanding of the risks and benefits of the internet. We work with children aged 9 to 13, using group sessions to build online resilience and promote emotional wellbeing. We also encourage parents and carers to get involved, to help protect their children from online abuse.

Letting the Future In:

Through Letting the Future In, we support children and young people, aged 4 to 17, to rebuild their lives after experiencing sexual abuse. Practitioners work with children in safe therapeutic spaces, doing things like messy play, writing, storytelling and art to help them express feelings they can't put into words.

Together for Childhood:

Together for Childhood is a long-term project working with the community in Ernesettle to make it safer for children. It takes the best of what social care, schools, health, voluntary and community groups, police and the NSPCC are already doing to prevent child sexual abuse.
