Autism is a lifelong, developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people, and how they experience the world around them.

Autistic people see, hear, and feel the world differently than other people. If you are autistic, you are autistic for life; autism is not an illness or disease and cannot be 'cured'. Often, people feel that being autistic is a fundamental aspect of their identity.

NAS provides information, support, and pioneering services and campaigns for a better world for people with autism.

Plymouth and District Branch

The Plymouth and District branch is run by a group of volunteers who work together to provide autism support, information, and signposting. We have three different peer support groups:

Is your child on the autism spectrum?

Why not come and join our new free support group?

Share your ups and downs, and maybe find out how other parents are doing it. Sleep, school, behaviour, and eating can all be challenges.

Please email NASplymouthadultaspergersbranch@nas.org.uk for times, dates, and more information.
