Census
Despite the fact that this graph shows a decrease in the number of local carers compared to the previous Census in 2011, there has been an increase in demand for young carers' services in the area. Identification of young carers will be helped by the School Census 2023, which now includes indicators relating to identification of young carers. Please note that the Census data does not yet breakdown the data on carers by age.

This year, Young Carers Action Day is on 15 March 2023 and the theme is "Make Time for Young Carers".
