We want children to be happy at school and to achieve high standards. We try to create an atmosphere in which learning is enjoyable, effective, and matched to the abilities of the child.
At St. Peter's School, we aim to create, in a Christian setting, a safe, secure, and fun learning environment where every child feels happy and enjoys their learning experience.
We pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere where standards of teaching and learning are constantly in view and where all succeed to the best of their ability through knowledge of the individual.
We aim to make everyone feel valued as a member of the school community and that they have an important contribution to make to it. We strive to foster and develop good communication links within the school and its wider community. To this end, please feel free to raise any concern or matter with either the headteacher, staff member, or any member of the governing body.

At St Peter's we believe that educational inclusion means that staff, children and parents should value each other, respecting differences where they exist. This is within a Christian educational context in which we welcome all families and children, of all faiths and none.
We are committed to removing barriers to accessing learning, the curriculum, the school's physical environment and all other aspects of school life, to ensure inclusion for all pupils. We work closely with agencies across education, health, social care and voluntary bodies in order to best support inclusive practice.
