In a fantastic central location, near Wyndham Square, the nursery is easy to find and situated in the perfect place for parents and carers living locally. As well as being well situated for parents travelling in, being not far from Plymouth train station and the A374.
Though in a residential area, the nursery is also close to Victoria Park with its six hectares of greenland, a cycle track, playground, and even a bowling green, basketball court, and football pitch.
At Tops Day Nurseries, our aim is for all children to meet or exceed the expected development for their age. We are implementing 'SchemaPlay' across all of our settings to help narrow the gap for any children showing signs of delay and to also enhance the learning experiences for all children that attend our settings. 'SchemaPlay has recently created a video to help parents understand what schemes are and how they can be identified and promoted at home. Watch the full video here'.
We respect children and believe that they deserve the best possible start in their journey through life. That is why we ensure that we provide happy, loving care and education.
The children at Tops benefit from our balanced, no-added sugar menus that we have designed to support growth and development using the Children's Food Trust recommendations. To view our healthy, nutritious recipes, click here.
Tops Stonehouse also implements extracurricular activities in line with the rest of the Tops Day Nurseries family. For example, Tops Cooking School, Boogie Mites, yoga, tooth brushing, football fun, and much more!
