What do we do?

We offer a range of community and centre-based day activities for people with learning disabilities.

We offer activities that are person-centred, based on feedback, and designed to meet the individual's needs.

Our aim is to support individuals in broadening their experiences and embracing new opportunities. We create an environment that encourages personal growth and development, empowering individuals to strive for their best selves.

Who can access the service?

Anyone over 18 years old who has a learning disability and who has been assessed as eligible for services (under Fair Access to Care) can access our services.

How to access our service

Referrals can be made by contacting Plymouth City Council on 01752 768000 or by speaking directly to your social worker/care manager.

We can then talk about your choices, interests, and preferences for day support. Following this, we will create a person-centred plan and develop and deliver a range of activities and opportunities to support the individual.

Our mission

Our skilled compassionate team will support and work alongside you as parent/carers to offer your son/daughter/relative the opportunity to achieve goals and to support aspirations following a person-centred approach whilst promoting independence. We aim to achieve this by increasing opportunities for individuals to enjoy and participate in quality centre and community-based activities in a safe and fully supportive environment.

Our values

We are committed to:

  • Providing an inclusive service.
  • Fully understanding everyone's right to aspire to their own goals and to fulfil and promote skill development by offering appropriate support.
  • Encouraging independence and increasing self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • Ensuring everyone feels safe, listened to, supported, and valued.
  • Optimising and promoting health, well-being, and a good quality of life through supportive care needs with help from families and professionals.
  • Ensuring that everyone has the right to share in the life of the community around them.
  • A commitment to a high standard of care and support while supporting your son, daughter, or relative.
