Access Plymouth

We can transport elderly and disabled people to medical appointments (including vaccinations) and shopping using minibuses and cars.

Age UK

We have many services available for people living in Plymouth. These services include a Help at Home service (domestic tasks only), Adult Day Centre, Dementia Day Centre, a free Information & Advice service and a community activity service.

Brambles -  Pet Food Bank

Bramble's Pet Food Bank has been set up to help people and families who are struggling and need support to have access to food for their loving pets.

Devon and Cornwall Furniture Reuse Project Ltd

We offer free of charge furniture and Warmer Home Boxes including microwaves, new blankets, duvets and portable radiators and when available, free of charge new white goods. 

Food Buddies South West

A group for sharing tips, ideas & receiving support on anything food-related, both eating and growing.

Hamoaze House

Day support services for those people with multiple complex needs (mental health, homelessness, problematic use of drugs and/or alcohol and offending). We can provide food parcels for those in need and essentials linked to energy, water, sanitary products, warm clothing, soap, blankets, boiler service/repairs.

Day Support Services offered citywide in Plymouth. Essentials linked to energy and water cover Devonport, Moorview, St Peter and the Waterfront and Stoke.

Happy to Help Plymouth 

A volunteer community helping to support the more vulnerable members of the community through the coronavirus pandemic. As the virus spreads through Plymouth more people will be self isolating and those who are more vulnerable to the virus may also be less able to pick up food shopping or stay in contact with others.

Help During COVID-19 Plymouth

A group for the people of Plymouth to source help and support during the COVID-19 pandemic through the power of the community.

Ferndale Community Tenants Group

Small community group with an online radio station that is manned by local volunteers to help keep people of all ages mentally healthy by giving them entertainment by local people in isolation. Listen via your smart device or online.

Mindset Project CIC

The Mindset Project Community Interest Company (CIC) recognises and aims to address the impact every-day stressors can have on us, physically and mentally, by providing individuals, living in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, with the tools, including exercise, and guidance to help and enable them to identify their stressors and reset their mind set.

Plymouth Argyle Football in the Community Trust

We are offering food poverty relief through the provision of Christmas hamper boxes which will contain 30-40 perishable and non-perishable items.

We are looking to support vulnerable families experiencing financial hardship by providing them with funds to cover the cost of utility bills or household repairs.

Plymouth Community Group COVID-19 Support Network

This group is for community groups in Plymouth, supporting the response to Covid-19. You can post about issues concerning staff, volunteers funding etc. POP+ will do it's best to connect you (virtually) together and support you.

We can help support people via Facebook or phone during the lockdown.

Pioneer Project CIC

The Pioneers Project CIC was born in communities in Plymouth where people face disadvantage, and it has grown to serve children, young people and families who need support across Plymouth and into South East Cornwall and the South Hams in the UK. We value people and their individuality but recognise that connection is so important for our mental health and sense of worth. Our support services have helped the participants understand their awesomeness, find comfort in who they are and connect with other people.

Covering Devonport, Stonehouse and Stoke we can help people with food parcels, friendly phone calls, shopping, prescription collections, volunteering support and generally helping people get out feel part of their local community.

We are based in the centre of Morice Town and endeavour to help without judgement, anyone who requires it with things such as emergency food parcels, clothing etc. We can help people in the Devonport, Morice Town, Stoke, Keyham and surrounding areas.

Ernesettle Helping Hand

Assisting you with food shopping and prescription collections. We will do our best to help you with any request for help. In association with Ernesettle Neighbourhood Watch 

Wolseley Trust

Now, more than ever the Wolseley Trust is drawing on its network of resources and partners across Plymouth to reach and support our communities, businesses and service users.

Glenholt Community Good Neighbour Scheme

We offer help with grocery shopping by working with our local - Londis Shop, Post Office and Tesco Roborough, newspaper deliveries, prescription drop off and collection again working with Tesco Roborough, dog walking, and the launch of our befriending and compassionate friend service.

Hoe Neighbourhood Forum

Bringing residents, community organisations and businesses together to make a Neighbourhood Plan for our area. We're also supporting Neighbours who need help during the COVID-19 lockdown. Hoe Neighbourhood Forum has signed up to the official Good Neighbour Scheme Principles.

Support Our Southway- SOS Squad

A group set-up to support the Southway community and the surrounding areas as best they can with help from their SOS squad that is made up from volunteers from the area.

St Budeaux Baptist Church

Church-based support helping people with their shopping and we can signpost people that need financial help. We have vouchers for food packs from the Trussell Trust Foodbanks in Plymouth. There is also a jigsaw puzzle service, all within the St Budeaux area.

Stoke Neighbourhood Care Network

This group is dedicated to helping people in Stoke and Morice Town during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We hope to match up volunteers and support as quickly as possible so we can help you. A friendly group of volunteers who can help pick up from local shops, Stoke Pharmacy and Stoke Surgery. We can also have a chat on the phone if you feel in need of some company. Stoke Stars has signed up to the official Good Neighbour Scheme Principles.

Four Greens Community Trust

Rooms and staff / volunteers available and willing and we have partners including St Chads Church and Salvation Army willing to support any effort.

Giving World

National charity helping deprived communities by supplying essentials including shampoo, bedding, nappies, washing powder and warm, clean clothing to vulnerable people free of cost. They are also providing patients and front-line staff with changes of clothing and personal hygiene products.
